Raj Home Department releases fresh guidelines amid increasing Covid-19 threat in State

As Covid-19 is becoming more prevalent, Rajasthan Government has released a new set of guidelines that would be applicable from January 7, 2022. 

1. All schools, colleges, universities, coaching offering hostel facility must ensure proper sanitisation, Covid-appropriate behaviour, and double dose vaccination of students and staff.

2. Looking at the increasing cases in Jaipur and Jodhpur, all private and public schools for classes 1 to 8 will remain shut till January 17. However, online class will continue. 

Magistrate of other districts must take a decision after discussing implications with State Government.

3. Administrative Secretary on Secretariat level, HOD on departmental level, and District Collector on District level must take appropriate decisions for functioning of Government offices with 50 percent capacity, where social distancing cannot be maintained.

4. Above mentioned guidleine will not be applicable on services and work related to: District Administration, Home, Finance, Forensic Laboratory, jail, Homeguard Control Room, War Room, Forest Department, Ayurvedic Department, Animal Husbandry Department, DoIT&C, DIPR, Fire Fighting and Emergency Services, Public Transport, Disaster Management, Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Municipal Corporation, Urban Development Trust, District Council, Electricity, Drinking Water, Cleanliness, Telephone, Heath and Family Welfare. 

5. All private and government offices must ensure proper Covid-appropriate behaviour.

6. Workplace President/Business Owner/Boss can grant 'Work From Home' to specially-abled employees, pregnant women, employees 55 years old or more, and employees with chronic diseases.

These employees must be available on phone and other electronic mediums all the time.

7. If any employee is tested Covid-19 positive, then the office has to closed for at least 72 hours and everyone will be working from home.

8. All proposed camps of Prashasan Shehron Ke Sang, Prashasan Gaon Ke Sang Abhiyan have been postponed till further orders.

9. A curfew will be assumed in entire State everyday from 11 pm to 5 am.
