RAJ GOVT GIVES MoS STATUS TO 27 CONG LEADERS
All chairpersons with status of Ministers of State will get Rs 45,000 salary, Rs 34,000 hospitality allowance per month and other facilities
Jaipur: Among the recently conducted political appointment in the state, 27 non-legislative chairpersons of commissions, boards and authorities have been given the status of ministers of state and an order has been issued by the Cabinet Secretariat in this regard.
All the board chairpersons who have been made Ministers of State (MoS) will get Rs 45,000 salary and Rs 34,000 hospitality allowance per month, along with other facilities as per rules.
Notably, Chairman of Twenty Point Program Dr Chandrabhan, Khadi Board Chairman Brijkishore Sharma and Rajasthan Agro Industries Development Board Chairman Rameshwar Dudi have already been given the status of cabinet ministers.
Interestingly, former Chairpersons have also been given the MoS status and these include Chairperson of the Child Protection Commission, Sangeeta Beniwal and Khanu Khan Budwali, both of whom have completed more than half their term as the chairman of the board.
