PM MODI TO WITNESS VAYU SHAKTI-2022 IN JAISALMER ON MARCH 7

Jaipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Jaisalmer on 7 March to witness Indian Air Force’s biggest war drill Vayu Shakti-2022 at Asia’s largest Chandan Field Firing Range.

Chief secretary Usha Sharma and DGP ML Lather may also go to Jaisalmer. Sharma instructed the Jaisalmer Collector to coordinate with SPG. Modi will reach in the morning and leave by the evening.

Rafale will be part of Operation Vayushakti for the fi rst time and 109 fi ghter jet and helicopters will make war combination. Sukhoi, Mirage, Jaguar and MiG-29 will also be part of the exercise.

Along with this, 24 Apaches, Chinooks, Light Combat Helicopters, seven transport aircraft, four remote control aircraft will also be part of this Operation.

For a month, the Air Force personnel have been preparing for this exercise.
