Organising Rural Olympics has become a success with public participation: Gehlot

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that the organisation of Rajiv Gandhi Rural Olympic Games has been successful in the state with the cooperation of the general public. “30 lakh players participated in these games, including 10 lakh female players. There is no dearth of sports talent in the state. The state government is working to develop these talents by finding them. In this sequence, work is being done to provide good grounds, equipment, high level training and better sports facilities to the players. Players are being given ‘out of turn’ appointments in government jobs. The prize money for winning medals has been increased to 3 crores. Rajiv Gandhi Urban Olympics is going to be organized from 26 January,” CM said.
