OPS HAS GIVEN EMPLOYEES A SENSE OF SECURITY ABOUT FUTURE: CM

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot once again reiterated that the old pension scheme (OPS) has been implemented in the state on the demand of the employees, which has given the employees a sense of security about their future.

“The future of the employees in the new pension scheme depends on the stock market. The opposition of the old pension scheme by the central government and many economists is unjustified,” Gehlot said.

He said that unprecedented progress has been made in all the fields while OPS is being implemented in country. OPS does not hinder devp of India in any way.

Gehlot was addressing the swearing-in ceremony of the executive body of Rajasthan State Other Administrative Services Confederation in Jaipur on Sunday.

He also said that the role of employees is important in providing sensitive, transparent and accountable administration in Raj.

Employees have an important contribution in taking the benefits of the public welfare schemes of the state government to the last person. Gehlot said that the state government is protecting the interests of the employees. In this sequence, a decision was taken to conduct DPC twice a year, so that the employees could get the benefit of timebound promotion. Work is being done to regularise the contract workers as much as possible.
