ONE LAKH DIYAS BEING MADE FROM COW DUNG

Jaipur: Around one lakh Diyas are being made from cow dung in Jaipur on the occasion of Ram Temple Pran Pratishtha ceremony on Jan 22. These Diyas will be distributed to the public of Jaipur. Hingonia Goshala of Jaipur has taken up this unique initiative in collaboration with JMCG. These Diyas are a call back to age-old tradition of using Cow dung cakes in religious ceremonies like Hawans & Yagyas.
