NSUI, ABVP protest outside RU Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat

Jaipur: In Rajasthan University, in a show of strength, the NSUI and ABVP staged sit-in protests outside the Chancellor’s Secretariat on separate issues, including demand to extend the date of the students’ union election. ABVP started an indefinite dharna outside the Chancellor’s Secretariat for a one-point demand while the NSUI activists protest against the seizure of five vehicles of NSUI student leaders by the police. The NSUI workers were stopped by the police administration about 50 metres from the Chancellor’s Secretariat as ABVP workers were already sitting on a dharna there.

A memorandum was submitted to the Rajasthan University administration while taking out a rally on behalf of NSUI in Rajasthan University on Thursday. A memorandum was also submitted regarding waterlogging at the main gate of the university
