Miss Teen Diva 2022: Kashish Goswami Crowned Miss Teen Grand India 2023

Jaipur: India's biggest teen pageant - Miss Teen Diva recently concluded on 13th April, crowning 4 gorgeous young ladies that would represent the country at international teen pageant platforms like Miss Teen Grand, Miss Teen World, Miss Teen Universe and Miss Teen International.

The universe listens to a stubborn heart - the world of Pageantry has endless stories surrounding this ideology and such is the story of our newly crowned Miss Teen Grand - Kashish Goswami. Kashish began her pageant journey when she was just three years old and continued to participate in various pageants throughout her life. She was also a part of the training camp - Tiara - in 2021 where she was also crowned the Tiara Queen in October 2021. Her first major national Pageant was Miss Teen Diva 2021, alongside Cherisha Chaddha who is now our Miss Eco Teen 2022. Kashish's performance helped her finish in the top 8 of the pageant when the main crown went to Mannat Siwach. Setbacks are always disheartening, but her dream to represent her country internationally kept her hopes alive. Thus began her journey to the crown.

Kashish analysed her performance and figured out her strengths and weaknesses. She then worked on her weaker areas and perfected them with sheer practice and will to change. Her aim was to fix her flaws and make a more confident comeback. Her determination and efforts are what truly made her worthy of the crown she wears today. Kashish also bagged the title of best in evening gown that night.

Growing up, Kashish was very passionate about sports as well. A combination rarely seen in Pageantry, but our Miss Teen Diva was once a national table tennis player in the cadet category. She is also very close to her mother. Her mother is her biggest support system and also the reason why she is here today. Her mother's inclination towards Pageantry is what got Kashish into Pageantry in the first place, how else would it be possible for a three year old to make it into pageants?

Having the support of her mother made her realise how important it is for girls to have a source of support to fulfill their dreams. Unfortunately, not a lot of girls are as lucky as her to have what she had growing up. This made her inclined towards helping these girls achieve their dreams, through education. She started her own initiative - Muskaan - that enabled her to connect with many such little girls and help them achieve their dreams through the simplest tool of success - Education.

Her stage performance made it easy for her to make the final cut. There was just one step between her and the crown now - The final QnA. Her question was -

"What qualities in you make you worthy of representing India at an international level?"

The queen answered it very confidently with -

"I believe the representative of India should be humble and grateful and I think I have those qualities. I have never let a setback defined me. In fact I believe that come backs are way stronger and when you come back you have more experience you are more learned and that makes you even stronger to represent your country, make your country proud and the world proud. Thank you so much"

Her final answer inculcated a part of her story and was very relatable and inspiring as well. A winning answer indeed that won her the title of Miss Teen Grand India!
