Mins entitled to file bureaucrats’ ACRs

Jaipur: The ministers already have the right to file ACR of the bureaucrats in Rajasthan and some ministers have been exercising this right. Only the Chief Minister does not fill the ACR of all the officers.

First India has the circular of the Department of Personnel issued on August 8, 2008 which mentions, ‘If a Principal Secretary works in a single department, then the minister will fill the ACR. If an officer works under more than one minister, then the Chief Minister will fill the ACR. The Revenue minister has the right to file the ACR of the Chairman of the Revenue Board.”
