Mines Dept extends amnesty scheme till Sept 30

Jaipur: The Department of Mines has extended the amnesty scheme till Sept 30, 2023. Following the budget announcement, the benefit of this scheme will also be given to the outstanding mining lease holders, quarry license holders and royalty contractors till March 31, 2022.

Additional Chief Secretary (Mines) Dr Subodh Agarwal informed that the department has started implementing the announcements of the budget 2023-24 by preparing an action plan.

“Orders have been issued to increase the scope and duration of the departmental amnesty scheme. Along with the interest waiver, relief of a maximum of 90 per cent and a minimum of 40 per cent has been given in the principal amount according to different slabs,” Agarwal said.
