Min directs docs for cancer treatment under one roof

Jaipur: Medical and Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena on Tuesday inspected the Rajasthan University of Health Science (RUHS), SMS medical college and State Cancer Institute. While inspecting the cancer institute, Minister PL Meena expressed displeasure over the lack of shifting of doctors and patients to the cancer institute. The minister also inspected hi-tech machines installed for cancer treatment and inquired doctors about number of patients who benefited from the state cancer institute. The doctors then informed that shifting of patients had not taken place completely.

Minister Parsadi Lal Meena expressed displeasure and said that when crores of rupees have been spent on hi-tech machines, then why shifting had not taken place. He directed that treatment of all cancer patients should take place under one roof and staff and patients should be shifted here immediately
