Maximum lease owners will not pay additional fees

Jaipur: Nearly 20,000 plot holders will get benefit from an order of the Rajasthan government under which they will not have to give additional fees for taking a lease of land.

UDH and LSG issued an order saying that no additional amount will have to be given for taking lease of plots upto 300 square meter in colonies settled before 31 December 2021.

For plots larger than 3000 sq meter, Rs 5 per sq meter will be given.
Earlier, the charge was 30 percent of the DLC rate of agricultural land. However, in new schemes of private khatedari, the charge will be taken.
