Liquor ban in Raj: 5-member team sent to Bihar to study model

Jaipur: After Bihar, now demand of liquor ban is gaining momentum in Rajasthan too. In view of the possibilities of prohibition in state, state government has sent a fivemember team to Bihar.

The team led by Pooja Bharti Chhabra, the national president of prohibition movement, will study the situation of prohibition in Bihar. The five-member team left for Patna this morning on an Indigo flight.

Vijay Joshi, Deputy Commissioner of Anti-Excise Team and 3 representatives of organization are in team. These representatives will study the situation before the implementation of prohibition in Bihar, situation during prohibition and the arrangements for raising revenue at the present time.

Poonam Ankur Chhabra met CM Gehlot along with her delegation at his residence & expressed gratitude. “Thank you for sending a team.”
