Leaders meet Randhawa, claim for party tickets

Jaipur: Several Congress leaders met State in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and staked claim for the party ticket before him at the War Room here. Rajiv Arora claimed a ticket from Malviya Nagar and kept his side in the context of his claim.

Khadi Board Chairman Brijkishore Sharma also met Randhawa and claimed a ticket from Hawa Mahal. Co-incharge Amrrita Dhawan was also present. MLAs KL Bairwa and GR Khatana also met Randhawa & kept their point on politics of East Raj. Randhawa advised leaders to involve in poll preparation to strengthen organization.

In the meanwhile, Randhawa also asked MLAs about their contribution to Mehangai Rahat Camps. Some MLAs said 90 % & some said 55 %. Randhawa focused more on low percentage. Now, MLAs with less percentage are worried that their tickets may be axed due to low percentage.

Jyoti Khandelwal, exmayor of Jaipur, expressed displeasure to Randhawa, saying that neither she has been adjusted in organisation nor has been given the post of Mahila Congress Prez. Khandelwal said that she was constantly active. She demanded a ticket for assembly polls. Randhawa met several party leaders on Saturday too.
