Lawyers’ protest ends after top cop intervenes

Jaipur: Advocates protesting over two missing daughters of a fellow lawyer, ended their protest on Tuesday, after Commissioner of Police Anand Srivastava met them at the protest site outside the High Court.

There was a traffic jam in city for the second day after which Srivastava reached out to protestors and assured of best possible action in the matter.

He said that SIT has been constituted to bring back both the girls safely. Apart from Jaipur Commissionerate, with the cooperation of SOG and ATS teams, cops is engaged in search of the girls. Lucknow Police is also helping in the matter.
