Khadi Board wants govt school kids to wear its uniform
Jaipur: The Rajasthan Khadi and Village Industries Board has sent a proposal to the state government for providing free khadi uniforms in government primary schools.
Besides, the board has demanded that medical staff in government hospitals and doctors should wear aprons and gowns made of Khadi.
Bedsheets, pillow covers, curtains, fancy gowns, soap, handwash, and phenyl should also be procured from Khadi Industries.
The board has made a special demand that a day should be fixed when officers and employees in the government offices should wear Khadi dress. This would encourage people to wear Khadi and the financial condition of Khadi industries will also improve.
