JDA bans construction of RIC guest house; Rs 21 cr wasted?

Jaipur: The construction of a guest house at Rajasthan International Center (RIC) is caught between JDA and RIC as it has been learnt that now JDA has imposed the ban on construction of the guest house. As per sources JDA won’t be spending any amount on construction of the guest house. Notably more than 65 % construction work has been completed by now and Rs 21.33 crore have been spent on this project.

Two basements and G +3 construction have been erected and project was started during the tenure of the previous Congress govt.

In the first phase 44 rooms are being constructed with an expenditure of Rs 42 crore. The foundation stone of the project was laid down in the year 2022 on October 6th.
