Jaipur Railway Station in race of ‘Eat Right’, food safety training held

Jaipur: Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) will conduct standardized checking of all stages of food preparation (from raw material to finished goods) at Jaipur station so that consumer can get hygienic food.

The exercise is being done for giving status of “Eat Right Station” to Jaipur Railway Station, CPRO NWR Capt Shashi Kiran said.

He said Mumbai Central is first railway station to get status of “Eat Right Station”.

In first phase of “Eat Right Station” at Jaipur station, a Food Safety Supervisor training program was organized for vendors who are doing catering work, managers, in-charges & suppliers.

It was completed under the guidance Dr. PK. Samanta Rai and Dr. Laxmi Meena. Food Safety Supervisor certificates were given to all the vendors.
