Investigation into recruitment process of asst. professor in RAJUVAS still stuck
Jaipur: The Animal Husbandry Department formed an inter-departmental committee three months back for investigation into the recruitment of assistant professor at Rajasthan Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Bikaner but the investigation of the committee has not been completed yet. It is interesting that in the earlier departmental enquiry, irregularities were found in the recruitment, yet the recruitment is not being started afresh by canceling the earlier one and the recruitment process is stuck. In the investigation of a committee constituted by the order of 25 November 2022, prima facie irregularities were considered. Only after this, orders were given to constitute a high-level inter-departmental inquiry committee on 21 December 2022 by Kashmi Kaur, Deputy Secretary of Animal Husbandry Dept.
Due to high-level pressure, opinion was sought from the DOP by not forming an inquiry committee. The DOP did not give any opinion on the file considering the situation as unclear and returned the letter back to the Animal Husbandry Dept. In the reply sent to Raj Bhavan, the Deputy Secretary said that irregularities were found in the recruitment investigation.
The VC of the University Dr. Satish Kumar Garg is already facing allegations of criminal cases pending against him in the court. A hearing is going on in the Jodhpur High Court on the Public Interest Litigation filed by Rajasthan Youth Board member Sunil Sharma regarding his wrongful appointment.
