In 4 days: 190 cases, 180 vehicles seized, RS 50L fine

Jaipur: Taking action against illegal mining, transportation and storage in the entire state, about 190 cases have been filed, 180 vehicles and machinery seized along with a fine of more than Rs 50 lakh in the last four days. ACS mines Dr. Subodh Agrawal informed that strict action is being taken against illegal mining activities in the entire state in coordination with the District Administration, Police Administration and Mines Dept. He said in the last four days maximum 60 cases have been filed in Udaipur circle and two persons have also been arrested in Udaipur. 53 cases have been registered in Jaipur.

He said that Additional Director Narendra Kothiyari has been made the State Level Officer-in-Charge for monitoring this campaign. Under the direction of Additional Director BS Sodha, action is being taken under the leadership of Jaipur Circle Jaipur SME Pratap Meena and Ajmer SME Jai Gurubakhsani. Director Mines Kunj Bihari Pandya is keeping an eye on the entire proceedings.
