High level committee formed after blackout in Kota-Jaipur

Jaipur: After the blackout in Jaipur and Kota, Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar and Additional CS (Energy) Alok have constituted a high-level committee to investigate the matter. Four members, including the Technical Director of Rajasthan Electricity Transmission Corporation, have been included in the committee constituted under the chairmanship of Energy Department’s Joint Secretary Girdhar.

The team will reach Kota and investigate the causes of the incident and prepare a detailed report along with suggestions to prevent such incidents.

On Friday, Kota was immersed in darkness and one fourth of Jaipur city was without power for one hour. Union Energy Minister RK Singh expressed grave concern on this.
