Health issues cut Gehlot’s Chandigarh trip short

Jaipur: Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had to cancel his Chandigarh tour and return to Jaipur due to health complications. Gehlot, who was scheduled to hold a press conference in Chandigarh and attend a public rally in support of Congress candidate Vijender Singla in Garhshankar, experienced severe discomfort related to a slipped disc.

He arrived in Chandigarh on Tuesday evening, but his condition worsened overnight. Following medical advice, he decided to cancel all his engagements and return to Jaipur. He traveled back via a special flight.

Despite his health issues, Gehlot made a heartfelt appeal to the voters in Punjab. He urged them to vote for Congress candidates to honor farmers and soldiers, protect democracy, and maintain harmony in the country. His message emphasized the importance of supporting Congress for a better future.
