Guv on Lumpy: Use goat pox vax in worst-hit areas

Jaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra, during a review meeting related to the condition and rescue of cows infected with lumpy skin disease, at Raj Bhavan on Monday, directed officials to take action to protect the cows and said that where there is more infection, goat pox vaccine should be given. He also instructed to sanitise the cowsheds and provide proper nutrition to cows to boost their immunity. He also directed for proper disposal of animals. An awareness campaign should also be conducted in villages and cities to boil cows milk before consumption.
