GEHLOT STRESSES TO MAKE PEOPLE FEEL “MAIN THANSU DOOR NAHIN”

Jodhpur: During his three day visit to his hometown Jodhpur, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot ensured that the people of the ‘Blue City’ do not forget his warm hearted approach towards their cause.

Time and again he has stressed saying ‘Main Thansu Door Nahi’ (I am not far from you) and over the past three days, his approach never deviated from his commitment to always be there for the people of Jodhpur, even if he may be physically far from them.

During his 72-hour stay, his focus was on addressing public grievances, development and strengthening of organization.

In three days, he not only listened to the grievances of the public by conducting three public hearings, but even broke the security cordon to approach the people and listened to the problems wherever people came to meet and instructed the officials to do all possible solutions.

In addition to Congress workers, people from different communities and organizations also came in large numbers to congratulate Gehlot on the budget.

Gehlot met with great affinity with everyone. Additionally, to fulfill the promises made in the last budget announcements, he took stock of the ongoing development works in Jodhpur and took feedback from the officials.

Gehlot, who came to Jodhpur after four months, held a direct dialogue with the Congress leaders and the councilors and advised them to strengthen the organization.

CM directed the Congressmen to prepare for the next Assembly polls and strengthen the party at grassroot level.

Interestingly, most of the complaints put forward before Gehlot were regarding police’s inaction & he expressed his displeasure over.

According to Gehlot’s intention, devp works in Jodhpur are ongoing. Gehlot also had one to one dialogue with the Congress leaders and advised them to run a membership campaign to strengthen the party
