Gehlot rewrites history, gives 19 districts, 3 divisions to Raj!

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot on Friday announced the creation of 19 new districts and 3 new divisions in the state while replying to the debate on the Finance and Appropriation Bill. Along with this, several important announcements were made including giving free smartphones to 40 lakh women on the occasion of Rakshabandhan in the first phase under the Chief Minister’s Digital Seva Yojana.

The CM said the construction and upgradation of roads, bridges and ROBs etc. will be done at a cost of Rs 2600 crore in various areas of the state. Govind Dev Ji Mandir, Jaipur will be developed on the lines of Mahakal Ujjain at a cost of Rs 100 crores. Along with this, Pushkar Development Authority will be constituted for overall development of Tirthraj Pushkar. Moreover, development work worth 100 crore rupees will be done at Beneshwar Dham, Dungarpur in the coming year.

2 lakh families who will be deprived of household electricity connection after the completion of the Centre’s Saubhagya Yojana will be provided household connections at a cost of Rs 1000 crore Under the Jal Jeevan Mission while 3 lakh families of 8 towns and 1473 villages of Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh and Rajsamand dists will be provided water connections at a cost of Rs 4674 crore.
