Gehlot enumerates his govt’s achievements of 4 years, commits to more development

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot said on Thursday that the public welfare schemes being implemented in the State are being discussed in entire country today. ‘State govt is working with commitment to provide facilities like water, electricity, health and edu to every resident. All the budgets of state govt have been dedicated to public welfare and the upcoming budget will be dedicated to youth and students. Upliftment of deprived sections is at core of every scheme of state govt,’ Gehlot said.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot while addressing the foundation stone laying and inauguration ceremony of development works worth Rs 68.15 crore at Kanwar Ka Bas in Jaipur on Thursday, said that the work of Bisalpur scheme is going on fast to solve the water problem in the area. “Our priority is to provide drinking water and water for irrigation to the people of the state. Instructions have been given to officers for proper power supply to the farmers for irrigation of rabi crops,” he said. “Announcement of Krishi Mandi Will also be done in the budget. I will automatically make everyone happy in the budget. We followed “No one should sleep hungry” policy in state and I was very happy when even the Supreme Court said that no one should sleep hungry. The State Government is always ready to help every needy family. I am proud that during the Corona period I had said that no one should sleep hungry and now the Supreme Court has also said the same thing.”

The Chief Minister said that Rajasthan is the only state to give 9 months grant to Gaushalas. He also planted saplings in the Gaushala premises. Gehlot said that Rajasthan has emerged as a model state due to public welfare schemes implemented in the field of health, & is continuously progressing in the field of education & government is running public welfare schemes in every area to provide maximum relief to the people of the state. On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr CP Joshi said that effective steps are being taken by the State Govt to bring change in lives of masses. In-charge Minister Shanti Kumar Dhariwal said that State Govt is getting development works done on a large scale in the area. Agriculture Minister Lalchand Kataria said that remarkable development works are being done by the State Government in the area. Meanwhile, talking about Bharat Jodo Yatra, Gehlot said, “Rahul Gandhi has praised our 5 schemes and PM Modi should implement them in the country. Pension scheme should be uniform in the whole country,” PCC Chief GS Dotasra was also present.
