FIRs against 9 docs, health personnel

Jaipur: Now FIR will be registered in the case related to corruption worth crores under the guise of ‘silicosis’ certificate in Dausa. First India had raised the matter prominently. Instructions have been given by the medical department to lodge FIR against 20 medical workers, including nine doctors in the matter.

So far, one doctor and two medicos have been suspended in the case while nine doctors and 11 other personnel were recently sent on APO. Besides, a criminal case is being registered against all those involved.

The matter came to light in Dausa just ahead of the assembly elections in the State. After the change of government, as soon as BJP came ot power in Rajasthan, Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar has taken action.

The Medical department has given instructions to Dausa, Sikar and Chomu PMO to send chargesheet of guilty doctors and other medicos to headquarters so that further action can be taken against them.
