Fire breaks out at the library building in JPR secretariat

Jaipur: A fire broke out on the fourth floor of the library building in secretariat on Wednesday morning. Security Officials informed the reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained, but prima facie, it seems that an electric short circuit could lead to fire in the building.

“The security staff got control over the fire, but the furniture, computers and books kept in the office were burnt to ashes,” officials said. “The Twitter handle and social media team of Rajasthan government works in this office.

Many devices & software were also destroyed in the incident,” the officials added.
