Final phase of RG Rural Olympic Games from Oct 16-19, Krishna Poonia brings in sponsors

Jaipur: The Rajiv Gandhi Rural Olympic games, which are being held for the first time in the state, have now reached the final stage and state level competition will be organized in six games from 16 to 19 October. On the initiative of Rajasthan State Sports Council Chairperson Krishna Poonia, a sponsor has come up and cash prizes will be given to the players. The Sports Council has made full preparations for the final event. After village, block and district level, now the state level competition in these Olympic Games will be held. The four-day event of the state level competition is being organized from 16 to 19 Oct at SMS Stadium in Jaipur. CM Gehlot will inaugurate the state level competition. 4000 players from the winning teams at the district level will participate in the competition. In this, 1782 boys and 1914 girl players of 330 teams from all 33 districts will participate. Apart from this, about 350 judges including 330 team trainers and 66 team in-charges will participate. 8000 players from each of the districts of the state will also participate.
