‘Excited’ CM Gehlot to open ‘magic budget’ briefcase today

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has finalised the budget 2023, on Thursday at his official residence, with the resolution of savings, relief and growth. Notably, this will be the last budget of the current Gehlot government.

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot will present the budget in the assembly at 11 am on Friday. It is believed that CM can also announce the formation of 7 new districts. There has been a demand for creating a district in the state for a long time. To start new jobs, the government will bring a plan to give huge discounts and packages.

There is also a possibility of a special focus on free schemes in the budget. There will also be an announcement of a plan to provide food kits to every family to provide relief from inflation.

Moreover, there is a possibility of announcement of zero bill on 30 thousand liters of water for domestic water consumers. Although no money is charged for up to 15,000 litres, but at present Rs 49 is charged as seepage charge and surcharge and this charge can now be made completely free.

Home facilities are likely to be announced and for this, a change in the service rules may be announced. The State Social Welfare Board had recently sent its proposal to the State Government. This announcement can be made to give a message to women employees in the election year.

Rajasthan Roadways buses are likely to announce 50 per cent concession in fare for women. At present women get 30 per cent concession in tarrif and it is proposed to increase this concession.

CM Gehlot has indicated that special attention will be given to the youth and the unemployed in the budget. Due to 2023 being election year, everyone's eyes are on CM Gehlot's budget.
