Ego problem’ between Jaipur MLAs, claims Cong’s Rafeek Khan

Jaipur: Congress MLA and Chairman of Minorities Commission, Rafeek Khan created ripples in the political fabric of Congress party on Wednesday when he claimed that there is ‘ego problem’ between MLAs in Jaipur and two senior leaders of the party, who are also ministers, are also at loggerheads. Moreover, Rafeek Khan has spoken openly about the laxity of the officers on his tour. Rafeek claimed that the officials are not aware of the 15-point programme.

Rafeek, highlighting the ‘biggest problem in Jaipur’, said that there are four MLAs of the Congress party in Jaipur. “Out of these four, two senior leaders are ministers and at times, a battle for supremacy comes to light. Then there are ego issues between two MLAs also. There may be a fight for supremacy, but there is no division in the party.” Speaking to First India, Khan stressed that he was disappointed with the laxity of officers on tour of districts. He claimed that in Churu and Jhunjhunu districts, the minority community is not the priority of officers. “In many places the officers did not come to the meetings,” he said.
