Edu institutions should focus on holistic development: Dr Kalla

Jaipur: Highlighting the role of higher education institutions in imparting education and making the students industry-ready, Education minister Dr BD Kalla on Friday said that such institutions should also focus on the holistic development of the students. He also appreciated the efforts of the government and shed light on the importance of a strong infrastructure for pre-primary schools.

Kalla, the Chief Guest, was addressing the ‘Education Conclave 2023’, presented by First India, First India News, Bharat24- Vision of New India, and Manipal University Jaipur, at Hotel Marriott on Friday. The event attended by several senior academics, school and college administrators, edutech entrepreneurs and politicians.

Minister Technical Education Dr Subhash Garg, the Guest of Honour, emphasized the importance of equity and inclusion in Higher Education Institutions and how technology has played a pivotal role in transforming higher education, making it more accessible, efficient and effective. Dr Subhash Garg also paid immense gratitude to Dr Jagdeesh Chandra for giving a platform to shed light on the important aspects of the education.
