Could Gehlot’s increasing stature be a reason for Madam’s ‘revival’?

Jaipur: It seems that the BJP high command is in a dilemma regarding Vasundhara Madam! Interestingly, on one hand, the high command has a mind not to declare regional face to anyone. As such for the last few years, elections are being won on the face of Narendra Modi and the strategy of Amit Shah. But after the Karnataka election results, the high command has started thinking afresh.

BL Santosh gave clear indications three days back in Sawai Madhopur on this issue and said, “Leadership had a different perspective before the Karnataka elections but now the perspective of looking at Rajasthan elections has become different.” And in such a situation, along with the PM, the high command can seriously consider declaring a regional satrap as a regional face.

Undoubtedly, Madam Vasundhara is at the forefront of such satraps. If Madam is really declared as regional face, then one or two other big contenders can be sent to the organization! But before handing over the command of the election to Madam, there is still a doubt in the mind of the high command!

And this pertains to whether Madam will fully obey the discipline of the party? Will Madam gracefully accept the advice of the high command in ticket distribution and remain flexible? Will Madam not have any sense of prejudice towards some big leaders working in Delhi and Jaipur? Will Madam take the leaders of all factions of the party together? Will Madam go beyond the circle of loyalists like Yunus Khan, Parnami and Rajpal Singh and give any consideration to other alleged dissidents as well, although these three leaders are popular in their respective fields? And finally, will Madam be able to keep the activities of the loyal OSDs of her previous tenure under control? Additionally, Madam will also have to take the responsibility of winning the existing 25 seats in the Lok Sabha in 2024!

Therefore, the day Madam will satisfy the high command on all these issues, on the same day, separate photos of Madam with Prime Minister, Home Minister and Party President will be released from Delhi. Meanwhile, today again famous numerologist Dr. Kumar Ganesh reiterated his old prediction and said that ‘now luck is waiting for Madam’s coronation!’

Moreover, apart from Madam’s horoscope, some ground realities are also forcing the high command to reconsider.
The first is that Gehlot’s stature is increasing day by day. Gehlot’s graph is increasing due to free electricity, free schemes like OPS, Chiranjeevi and possible Muslim polarization in Rajasthan like Karnataka. There is a big difference between the free announcements of Himachal, Karnataka and Gehlot as they were mentioned in the manifestos before the elections in Himachal and Karnataka. But in , Ashok Gehlot has already implemented up to 90% of his free schemes and a special kind of image has been created by the government among the beneficiaries.

According to the sources, the concern of the BJP high command is that if votes fall on Gehlot’s face and Gehlot got a free hand in ticket distribution from Rahul-Priyanka, then defeating Gehlot will be a big challenge and with 115-120 seats Gehlot can start his fourth innings because nowadays public gives decisive mandate!

But if the votes are cast on the faces of the Congress MLAs, then the Congress may be reduced to 38-40 seats. That is why the Congress high command is considering cutting tickets for 70 sitting Congress MLAs.

Even the BJP high command does not want to take any chance in this confusion and chaos. And to reduce this risk, the BJP high command can usher in Madam’s return in the election battle. But despite Narendra Modi’s face and Amit Shah’s strategy, Madam will also have to sweat in the field.

Interestingly, in spite of all these arguments and facts about making Madam a regional face or not, Narendra Modi will discuss the final decision with Amit Shah, JP Nadda and BL Santosh after returning from France trip.

On the other hand, amidst all this, a big BJP leader posted in Delhi is claiming to win 141 seats only with Modi’s face.
