Constitution Park earns praise

Jaipur: The presiding officers from across the country visited the Constitution Park at Raj Bhavan on Thursday. They appreciated the sculptures, photographs and models displayed in the park.

The presiding officers closely observed the artworks depicting the 22 parts of the Constitution. They took photographs in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi spinning the charkha and recalled his innovative experiment of giving a new direction to the freedom movement through the Swadeshi movement. The presiding officers described the beauty of Mayur Stambh as amazing amidst the peacocks roaming in the natural surroundings of the Raj Bhavan. Many presiding officers were overwhelmed to see the statue of Maharana Pratap resting with his beloved horse.

Uttar Pradesh Vidhansabha Speaker Satish Mahana said that the Constitution Park is an example in itself in the whole country.

Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh felicitated Governor. Mishra by making him wear the traditional cap of Himachal Pradesh.

Earlier, Mishra greeted everyone at the Raj Bhavan and presented mementos to them.

Principal Secretary to the Governor Subir Kumar and principal OSD Govindram Jaiswal apprised the presiding officers about the concept of Constitution Park.
