‘CM’s apology shows his moral aptitude’

Jaipur: Amidst the ongoing political drama that has engulfed Congress party, one of CM Ashok Gehlot’s trusted lieutenant and Minister in his government, Dr Mahesh Joshi, addressed a presser on Thursday and stressed that Gehlot’s apologising to Sonia ‘for what he didnt do, shows Gehlot’s moral aptitude.’ Joshi said that Gehlot made it clear to Sonia how things panned out on September 25. “CM apologised to Sonia ji for that work which he didn’t even do. This is an example in itself in politics. This is his decency which is exemplary,” he said, adding, “Many times situations like this happen. In this the person himself is not involved, but because he was in the highest position, he has taken moral responsibility.” On resignation of ministers & MLAs, Joshi said that they (all Gehlot supporters) will follow High Command’s decision. “Party president will inform us of the decision. But the question arises as to when have meetings been called to take MLAs’ opinions. Opinion has to be told first.”
