CM: State govt is committed for allround development of tribal areas

Udaipur/Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that State govt is committed for the allround development of tribal areas. “For this, schemes are being prepared by the government keeping in mind the interest of the tribal areas,” Gehlot was addressing the 10th Zonal Level Tribal Talent Samman Ceremony and Sarva Samaj Shikshak Gaurav Ceremony-2022 organized in Udaipur on Thursday.

Honoring the talents, CM shared public welfare works done by state govt in last four years.
“Coaching is being provided to 20,000 students in the state through Anuprati Yojana. Similarly, through Udaan scheme, government is providing 12 sanitary napkins to women every month,” he said.

“Due to this, children of poor families are also getting education in English medium. These children will be able to work not only in the country but also abroad. Everyone is troubled by inflation. In such a situation, State govt showed sensitivity. It has been decided to give gas cylinders for Rs 500 from next April 1. Under Kisan Mitra Urja Yojana, electricity bills of about 8L farmers of state have become zero and up to 50 units of electricity is being given free of cost. In the field of social security, pension is being given to about one crore people in state,” Gehlot said. Meanwhile. CM honored Udaipur Collector Tarachand Meena with Mangarh Dham Gaurav Award. He honored Durgaram Muwal & Mahendra Kumar Meena with Nana Bhai Khant Teacher Gaurav Award, Adikavi Maharshi Valmiki Gaurav Award to Dr Kiran Meena, Mewar Veer Rana Punja Bhil Pratibha Award to Deepika Meena etc.
