CM: Raj’s total GDP will soon be Rs 15L cr due to govt’s superb economic mgmt

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot while addressing the inaugural ceremony of National Handloom Week-2023 via video conference at CMR on Thursday, said that the handloom products of Raj reflect its culture, heritage and history. “Handloom and Khadi played an important role in the freedom struggle as well. For the first time such event is being organised to give world class recognition to these products,” CM said, He added that State govt is committed to increase income of handloom artisans & for their upliftment.

“In this sequence, a provision was made in MSME Policy-2022 that this type of event would be held every year. With this, buyers will be attracted towards handloom products at nat’l & int’l level. “Our policies & schemes are being praised across nation. The freedom period from registration approvals & inspections under MSME Act has been increased from 3 years to 5 yrs. Decisions like One Stop Shop, RIPS-2019, RIPS2022, Mukhya Mantri Laghu Udyog Protsahan Yojana will have farreaching results in State’s interest,” he said.
