CM plans to conserve rain water in the State

Jaipur: The Bhajanlal government in the state will now work on conserving rain water. Water from the springs flowing from the mountains will also be used during the rains. Following instructions from the Centre, rain water which often goes waste will be put to use.

At present, it is being assessed as to how much rain water goes waste in Rajasthan. Waste water from rivers like Mahi, Somkamala, Amba, Anas will be conserved.

Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Water Resources Abhay Kumar has started working with the engineers for this. Work will be done on the water going out of Rajasthan from every river during rains.
