CM: EMPLOYMENT GENERATION FUNDAMENTAL DUTY OF GOVTS

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot said that every youth wants a good future & State government is committed to provide proper opportunities to the youth to realise their dreams. So far, about 1.25 lakh government jobs have been given in the state, recruitment is under process for the same number of posts and 1 lakh more jobs have been announced, he said while addressing the first day of the two-day Mega Job Fair at Birla Auditorium. Gehlot said that the upcoming budget would be dedicated to the youth and students of the state. He said that in the Mega Job Fair, selection is being done for the jobs on the basis of merit and offer letters are being given to the youth on the spot.

“It is the State Government’s responsibility to provide adequate employment opportunities to youth.” Such job fair would be organised in every district of the state, he said. The CM visited various stalls & interacted with the youth. During this, MoU were signed with representatives of reputed firms who came to the job fair to create about 30,000 jobs in the private sector. About 43,000 youth have registered for this two-day job fair. Skill, Employment Minister Ashok Chandna said that this mega job fair has been possible only because of CM Gehlot’s positive thinking towards the youth.
