CM APPROVES RS 14.80 CRORE FOR STATE-OFTHE-ART HOSTELS FOR TRIBAL STUDENTS

 7-storey hostel being built for girl students in Udaipur
 Indoor stadium, gym and coaching room facility will also be available
 Hostels will prove to be milestone for the tribal students here

Jaipur: The State government is committed for the all-round development of the tribal areas of the State. In this direction, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved an additional financial proposal of Rs 14.80 crore for various schemes. With this, sports facilities will be made available for the students in the area including construction of hostels, classrooms.

7-STOREY HOSTEL IN UDAIPUR
With this approval, a 7-storey hostel (Centre of Excellence with Modern Facilities) will be built in Chitrakoot Nagar of Udaipur. It will have accommodation facilities for 120 girl students. Two-storey basement will be built here, in which basketball , volleyball arena , gym facilities will be available. The reception room , waiting room and two rooms will be ready on the ground fl oor. There will be kitchen and other facilities on the second, third and fourth floors.

HOSTEL OF 50 PAX IN RAJSAMAND
With this amount, a hostel of 50 student capacity will be constructed at Nathuwas in Rajsamand. Rs 2.80 crore has been sanctioned for this. State-of-the-art coaching class rooms are also being prepared.

CLASS ROOMS WILL INCREASE IN SCHOOLS
Addl classrooms will also be constructed in govt schools in tribal areas from the Tribal Development Fund at a cost of Rs 4 crore. Tribal Devp Fund of Rs 500 crore was constituted by CM in the budget of 2022-23.
