Cabinet members, MLAs hail CM over ERCP move

Jaipur: CM Bhajan Lal Sharma visited Rajasthan Assembly on Monday, where the Cabinet members and MLAs welcomed and thanked him for the unprecedented decision of ERCP.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel presented bouquets to him on behalf of members and the people. Sharma said that the State government is committed to the upliftment of every region and every section. During this, the Assembly members said that this project will prove to be a boon for the people of Eastern Raj as availability of water for irrigation and drinking water will be ensured. Members said that there is a wave of happiness among the people of 13 districts of Eastern Rajasthan, Jhalawar, Baran, Kota, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Dausa, Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer and Tonk. As per the MoU, capacity enhancement & redevelopment will be done of 26 dams.
