Cabinet gives nod to ‘Minimum Guaranteed Income Bill’

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Thursday that the government would introduce the Minimum Guaranteed Income Bill in the assembly session beginning on Friday. Gehlot was addressing the Social Security Pension Beneficiary Program at the Chief Minister’s residence. He said that it is the responsibility of the government to provide social security to every person.

He said that the state govt is ensuring social security to the people of the state through various schemes. Minimum Guaranteed Income Bill will be another important step of the State government in this direction. Cabinet has given its consent to this bill through circulation & this bill will be brought in Assembly.
