BJP to hold massive protest in city over rise in crime tomorrow

Jaipur: BJP state president Satish Poonia on Thursday said that it is the misfortune of Rajasthan that it could not get any full-time Home Minister in the last three-and-a-half years. He said that the party will do a massive protest in Jaipur on August 20 against the poor law and order situation in the state.

He said that if CM Gehlot, who also holds home department portfolio, had performed then there would not have been any complaint about public safety. “The CM is only concerned about his chair. The security of the chair for him is bigger than people’s security. It is the misfortune of Rajasthan that it could not get a full-time Home Minister in the last three-and-a-half years,” Poonia told reporters.
