BJP organisation set for overhaul following Cabinet expansion

Jaipur: After Cabinet expansion, the BJP will go for organisational changes in Rajasthan. New office bearers will be appointed in place of those, who secured positions in the government.

The State BJP executive is anticipated to witness the induction of new faces and unexpected names while maintaining caste balance.

The party had urged the office bearers to steer clear of electoral politics, but some were eventually given tickets.

The party’s current focus is on securing all 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, both hold positions in the current BJP executive, while some others are vying for ministerial roles.

The party plans to appoint new officers to fill these positions while also assigning increased responsibilities to official bearers for election management. The BJP High Command has issued directives to the local unit, emphasising the ‘One Person, One Post’ principle.
