BJP launches ‘Gaon Chalo’ drive

Jaipur: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, BJP leaders will go from village to village to promote the schemes of the Modi government.

For this, the BJP has started ‘Gaon Chalo’ campaign from Friday. Under this, leaders from CM to the party office bearers, leaders and workers will stay in the village for one night. In this three-day long campaign, about 85,000 BJP leaders, office bearers and workers will stay for one- night at 54 thousand places. CM Bhajanlal Sharma has taken part in the the campaign from Nagaur.

On the first day of the campaign, Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa, sports minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, BJP State President CP Joshi along with Rajendra Rathore, Satish Poonia, Arun Chaturvedi and other leaders will rest for the night in different villages today.

State coordinator of the campaign & spokesperson Omprakash Bhadana said that state president CP Joshi will be in Bhilwara, former Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore in Churu, former State President Satish Poonia in Jaipur, Arun Chaturvedi in Jaipur South, Ashok Parnami in Alwar South, BJP State Vice President Narayan Panchariya in Jaipur North & state general secretary Damodar Agrawal will stay in Rajsamand.
