BJP has torn the Constitution into pieces: CM

Jodhpur: Congress’ National President Mallikarjun Kharge addressed a public meeting organised after the nomination of CM Ashok Gehlot at Umaid Stadium in Jodhpur. In this, along with CM Gehlot, candidates from other assembly seats of the district and their supporting Congress leaders and workers were present.

The Congress President said that Ashok Gehlot is the candidate in Jodhpur. “He won 10 times in his life. Became MP 5 times, MLA 5 times. He was a minister in the GoI and CM in Rajasthan. Those who live and work among the people are the ones who get elected again and again.

“The Modi govt and BJP does the work of harassing those who do good work. The jobs which Pt Nehru had created are being sold one by one by Modi govt. The big factories that we see are modern temples. The BJP govt is snatching away those jobs. They didn’t bring anything new. If these people have brought anything new, then it is ED, Income Tax, CBI.”

“Modi first sends these three agencies for campaigning, then he himself makes a speech and accuses Congress leaders of looting the country. You are looting the country. Modi is nervous and scared thinking what will happen to him? They lost in Karnataka and Himachal. They lost in Ladakh corporation polls. He had earlier promised bullet train from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. Where is the bullet train? The work that was to be done in two years is being done now. So who lied? Modi lied,” said Kharge.

CM Gehlot also addressed the rally Gehlot expressed his gratitude to Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge. Gehlot said that the form has been filled today itself and he has received a lot of love from the public.

Gehlot further added saying, “We have left no stone unturned in development. Jodhpur is fortunate that it has all the premium institutions. There was a time when people used to say that Rajasthan was an arid desert, but now it is changing. There was a problem of water but Indira Gandhi Canal was built.” Recalling the sacrifices of Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi, the CM said that they did a lot for nation & BJP says many wrong things about the family which sacrificed its life for the country and kept it united. Describing BJP as a threat to democracy, he said that they have torn the Constitution into pieces. Describing the ED, Income Tax and the CBI as being in danger, CM Gehlot asked what is the fault of GS Dotasra & Vaibhav Gehlot?
