B2 Bypass underpass to be ready by January

Jaipur: The underpass being built at the B2 Bypass intersection in Jaipur will be opened for traffic in the New Year. Although it will take time to complete the entire project, vehicular traffic will be started from the underpass in January next year.

The project costing Rs 155 crore was started in January 2022 to make the bypass intersection traffic signal free. According to the work order issued by JDA, this project was to be completed in July this year. But due to excess work in the project, non-availability of required land on time, shifting of large lines of drinking water and sewer and rain during monsoon, this work has not been completed yet. JDA has set a target to complete its finishing work by January 15 next year.
