Ayush Minister Garg suffers minor stroke, hospitalised

Jaipur: Ayush Minister Subhash Garg was admitted to SMS Hospital after his health suddenly deteriorated in Bharatpur on Sunday. He was rushed from Bharatpur’s RBM hospital to SMS hospital through a green corridor. As per the primary information, he suffered minor stroke and his treatment was started in the ICU under the supervision of SMS medical college principal Dr Rajeev Bagahatta and SMS hospital superintendent Dr Achal Sharma. The team of doctors comprising senior physician Dr Swati Srivastava, senior neurologist Dr Bhawna Sharma and other experts started the treatment after primary investigation. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot spoke to the doctors and took detailed information. He also gave them necessary directions regarding arrangements in the hospital for the treatment of the Minister. Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh reached the RBM hospital and met Garg. In view of the situation, a Diwali get together event with the local traders of Bharatpur has been postponed.
