ACB nabs municipalty head, contractor in Tonk

Jaipur: The ACB’s Tonk unit, on Monday, nabbed Bharatlal Saini, Chairman of Todaraisingh Municipality of Tonk dist and a rain shelter contractor Dinesh Saini while taking a bribe of Rs 1.50 lakh.
Director General of Anti-Corruption Bureau Bhagwan Lal Saini informed that a complainant approached the Tonk unit of the bureau and filed a complaint saying that the Chairman had demanded Rs 3.50 lakh as bribe in lieu of not creating obstacles and hurdles in a colony being established at Ratwai village under the municipality area. During verification of the complaint, the accused took Rs 20,000. On Monday, the bureau laid a trap and held the accused with Rs 1.20 lakh.
