ACB interrogates Fisheries Dept officers

Jaipur: IAS officer Prem Sukh Bishnoi and Deputy Director Rakesh Dev are being interrogated at ACB headquarters in a bribery case worth Rs 35,000. Other officers of the fisheries department who are on leave are also on ACB radar.

The ACB registered an FIR late on Saturday. The complainant said that Rakesh Dev had asked for a bribe of one lakh from the complainant but the deal was finalized for Rs 50,000.

The ACB has appointed an IO in the case. Now, ACB Deputy SP Abhishek Pareek will investigate the case.

Bishnoi was promoted to Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from the state services in 2011.
